# Setting up your account

After creating your account, it's necessary to configure it to access all functionalities. When doing so, you will find that Amplify offers two types of accounts (store and platform), which are designed for different business models.

### Store

Choose this option if your business is based on the sale of physical or digital goods. Example: Selling courses or apparel.

### Platform

Choose this option if your business is a platform that charges a commission for its use. Example: Cafecito, Uber, Rappi.
